Champion Forest Baptist Church is planning a mission trip to Colombia’s largest ethnic group, the Wayuu, in 2026. Family groups reside in rancherias that are remote, far from services and health facilities, and are practically inaccessible.

The harsh environment and long-term drought severely limited their water supply and food, accelerating the spread of infections, parasites, and hunger, which killed the Wayuu children today.
